Eastside Catholic is a perfect 3-0 against Roosevelt since October of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Crusaders will be playing at home against the Roughriders at 7:00 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Eastside Catholic is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They claimed a resounding 60-6 victory over Ballard. The Crusaders have beaten the Beavers the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Beavers has come to flipping the script.

Cayden Pili was nothing short of spectacular: he rushed for 146 yards and three scores on only seven carries. The team also got some help courtesy of Luca Villasenor, who threw for 217 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 82.4% of his passes.

Meanwhile, Roosevelt never let their opponents score on Friday. They blew past Garfield, posting a 42-0 win. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Roughriders considering their ten-point performance the matchup before.

Eastside Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Roosevelt, the win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-3.

Eastside Catholic won a game that couldn't have been any closer when the teams last played back in October of 2024, slipping by Roosevelt 27-26. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Roughriders' Zaire Griffin, who rushed for 235 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 12.4 yards per carry, and also picked up 137 receiving yards and a pair of scores.
