Volleyball Recap: Bradshaw Christian Comes Up Short

Bradshaw Christian was the 2-0 winner over Hughson when they last played one another back in October of 2016, but their luck changed this time around. The Pride took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Huskies on Saturday.

Monica Buchanan paced Bradshaw Christian's offense, picking up seven kills. Buchanan got some help from Caitlin Brannen and her ten assists. Vivian Wong controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Bradshaw Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 10-17. As for Hughson, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 20-8.

Bradshaw Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Edison on the 11th. As for Hughson, they have also already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against West Campus on the 11th.
