Marshall Shoemaker Game Report: vs Homer

While Springport might've come up empty on Saturday, Marshall Shoemaker wasn't going down without a fight. Shoemaker produced his best game of the campaign: he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out seven over 4.2 innings pitched.

Looking ahead, Shoemaker and Springport will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Concord at 4:15 p.m. The Yellowjackets will enter the matchup having just beaten Lenawee Christian, so the Spartans will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
