Softball Recap: Standing Bear Grizzlies vs. St. Paul Wildcats
While Standing Bear put up plenty of runs on Saturday, the same can't be said for St. Paul. The Standing Bear Grizzlies were the clear victor by a 13-0 margin over the St. Paul Wildcats. With that win, the Grizzlies brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.
Analise Meitzen was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Meitzen was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 1-for-2.
In other batting news, Hadley Froeschl was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Lily Hansmeier, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.
