Appleton City waltzed into their contest on Friday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. They skirted past the Montrose Blue Jays 3-1. This was payback for the Bulldogs, who suffered a 2-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Appleton City's victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Camden Flagg, who went 1-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Another was Wyatt Davis, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base and one run.

Appleton City hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least four batters in four consecutive games.
