Softball Recap: Apollo Ridge Takes a Loss

Apollo Ridge came into this matchup off a tough 11-run loss last Monday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Highlands Golden Rams by a score of 7-5 on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Vikings have suffered since April 17, 2024.

Apollo Ridge saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jocelyn Snyder, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI.

This is the second loss in a row for Apollo Ridge and nudges their season record down to 10-4. As for Highlands, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 8-9 record.

As of now, neither Apollo Ridge nor the Golden Rams have any future games scheduled.
