Basketball Recap: Yates Center's Losing Streak Snapped at Five Games

Yates Center had to endure a five-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They had just enough and edged the Cherryvale Chargers out 39-36. For the Wildcats, this counts as revenge for the 48-41 win the Chargers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January.

The victory got Yates Center back to even at 1-1. As for Cherryvale, their loss was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2.

Yates Center will welcome Eureka on Thursday. As for Cherryvale, they will head out on the road to square off against Columbus at 7:00 p.m. on December 17th.
