Basketball Recap: Tri County Starts Season with Win Against Wilber-Clatonia + How To Watch

Tri County had to kick off their season on the road on Thursday, but they showed no ill effects. They really took it to the Wilber-Clatonia Wolverines for the full four quarters, racking up a 58-21 victory. The Trojans pushed the score to 51-13 by the end of the third, a deficit the Wolverines cut but never quite recovered from.

Drew Siems went supernova, going 8-for-19 to rack up 20 points along with eight boards and five assists. Zach Vossler was another key player, shooting 50% from the field en route to 12 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals.

Tri County smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since back in December of 2024.

Wilber-Clatonia's loss came despite strong showings from Hayden Woerner and Crew Pulliam. Woerner posted five points and five boards, while Pulliam put up no points.

Tri County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 73-44 win against Superior on the 6th. As for Wilber-Clatonia, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 62-55 defeat against H&H on the 5th.
