Soccer Recap: Cherokee County Takes a Loss

Cherokee County lost against Glencoe back in March of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Cherokee County Warriors came up short against the Glencoe Yellowjackets, falling 5-2.

Cherokee County dropped their record down to 3-5 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Glencoe, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-2.

Coming up, Cherokee County will host Collinsville at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Cherokee County has given up an average of 4 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week. As for Glencoe, they will venture away from home to take on Pennington at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
