Volleyball Game Preview: Mountain Pointe Pride vs. Desert Mountain Wolves + How To Watch

The Mountain Pointe Pride will square off against the Desert Mountain Wolves at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Mountain Pointe and six for Desert Mountain.

Mountain Pointe lost 3-0 to Chaparral on Thursday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-16, 25-11.

Meanwhile, Desert Mountain came up short against Notre Dame Prep on Monday, falling 3-0.

While Desert Mountain was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-19, 25-18.

Mountain Pointe's loss dropped their record down to 6-21. As for Desert Mountain, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-21.

Mountain Pointe might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Desert Mountain when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Can the Pride avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
