Basketball Game Preview: Indian Land Warriors vs. York Cougars + How To Watch

The Indian Land Warriors will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on the York Cougars at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. York took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Indian Land, who comes in off a win.

Indian Land not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since November 29, 2024 (when they won 52-27). They were the clear victors by a 62-38 margin over Legion Collegiate Academy.

Indian Land's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Jordyn Johnson, who shot 44% from the field on her way to 20 points in addition to six rebounds and six steals, and Yarielis Vega-Soto, who almost dropped a double-double with 13 points and nine steals. That's the most steals Johnson has posted since back in November of 2024. Taylor Harris-McKnight was another key player, putting up nine points.

York kicked off their season on the road on Saturday and hit a couple of potholes. They were beaten by Central Cabarrus 55-11.

Indian Land strolled past York when the teams last played back in December of 2024 by a score of 50-33. Do the Warriors have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Cougars turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
