Recap: Camden Hills vs. Medomak Valley
After a disappointing zero points in their last matchup, Medomak Valley made sure to put some points up on the board against Camden Hills on Saturday. Medomak Valley made easy work of Camden Hills and carried off a 50-22 victory. That looming 28-point mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Medomak Valley yet.
Medomak Valley got off to a slow start in their match last week, but they had no such trouble against Camden Hills as they cruised to a 36-point first half. Meanwhile, Camden Hills couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 36-0 heading into the break. Medomak Valley were outscored in the second half, but Camden Hills' efforts were ultimately no more than a drop in the ocean. The game leaves both teams with the exact same record at 4-4.
Medomak Valley will be staying on the road next week, facing off against Nokomis. Nokomis took a loss in their last contest and are no doubt out to reverse Medomak Valley's good fortune. Camden Hills will stay at home against Old Orchard Beach at 1:00 PM.
