Volleyball Recap: Brandon Has No Trouble Against Petal

Brandon entered their tilt with Petal on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Panthers 3-0. The contest marked the Bulldogs' most dominant win of the season so far.

Brandon was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-19, 25-18.

Lynnon Rhodes had a dynamite game, getting 20 digs and four assists. Those 20 digs gave her a new career-high.

Brandon's victory bumped their record up to 11-3. As for Petal, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Brandon will take on rival Meridian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Petal is set to face off against their familiar foe Oak Grove at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
