St. Helena has gone 4-0 against Cloverdale recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The St. Helena Saints will head out on the road to face off against the Cloverdale Eagles at 5:30 p.m. St. Helena will be strutting in after a win while Cloverdale will be coming in after a loss.

Having struggled with six defeats in a row, St. Helena turned things around against Kelseyville on Thursday. They never let the Knights onto the board and left with a 2-0 victory. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but the Saints were the better team in the second half.

Meanwhile, Cloverdale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 8-0 to Roseland University Prep. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 1122nd, while the Knights are ranked 435th).

Cloverdale's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for St. Helena, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-6.

St. Helena took their victory against Cloverdale in their previous meeting back in January of 2024 by a conclusive 6-0. Will St. Helena repeat their success, or does Cloverdale have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
