Navasota has gone 9-1 against Hempstead recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Navasota Rattlers will head out on the road to challenge the Hempstead Bobcats at 5:15 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Navasota has three straight victories, Hempstead has 12 straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

While Navasota's win against Harmony School of Innovation wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Navasota had just enough and edged out Harmony School of Innovation 4-3 on Friday. Given the Rattlers' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 157th, while the Mustangs are ranked 658th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Hempstead faced off against Sealy on Saturday. Hempstead came up short against Sealy, falling 9-1. The Bobcats were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 5-0.

Navasota's victory bumped their record up to 15-3. As for Hempstead, their loss dropped their record down to 2-14.

Navasota took their win against Hempstead in their previous matchup back in February by a conclusive 8-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Navasota since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
