Basketball Recap: Whitwell Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Whitwell can now relate to. They took a blow against the Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts Eagles on Saturday, falling 84-39. The Tigers' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it 12 in a row.

Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Landon Alexander led the charge by putting up 15 points. The dominant performance gave Alexander a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Andrew Williams, who posted 14 points.

Whitwell's defeat dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-16.

As of now, neither Whitwell nor Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts have any future games scheduled.
