Softball Recap: Ramsay Takes a Loss

Ramsay managed to slip by Shades Valley the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Ramsay Rams lost 21-12 to the Shades Valley Mounties on Tuesday. The Rams were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Mounties earlier this season, when they won 11-10.

Madison Bracy stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: she scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Keleiloa Thomas, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 3-for-4.

Ramsay's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Shades Valley, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ramsay will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Wenonah at 5:30 p.m. on April 2nd. As for Shades Valley, they will take on Fultondale at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
