Basketball Game Preview: Canterbury Crusaders vs. Sports Leadership & Management Spartans

The Canterbury Crusaders will take on the Sports Leadership & Management Spartans in a tournament on Friday. Canterbury is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.

Last Tuesday, Canterbury came up short against Sarasota Christian and fell 43-33.

Sports Leadership & Management fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-0 victory over Carrollwood Day on Wednesday. The two-point effort marked the Spartans' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Canterbury's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Sports Leadership & Management, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-11.
