Football Recap: Grant Bevan Leads Plateau Valley's Defense on Friday

Plateau Valley won the last time they faced Rangely and things went their way on Friday too. The Cowboys were the clear victors by a 44-24 margin over the Panthers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cowboys.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Plateau Valley's defense and their four sacks. Grant Bevan was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two himself. He has been hot, having also posted five or more total tackles the last five times he's played. Plateau Valley got some further help from Colter Ralston: he made 11 total tackles (2.0 for loss).

Plateau Valley's record now sits at 6-2. As for Rangely, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.

Plateau Valley will host Soroco at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Rangely does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
