Volleyball Recap: Fort Bend Dulles Falls Despite Big Games from Gabrielle St. Louis and Ambika Nair

Fort Bend Dulles lost against Fort Bend Clements back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Vikings took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rangers. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Fort Bend Dulles ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-21, 23-25, 25-19.

Ambika Nair and Gabrielle St. Louis certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Nair had 22 assists and five digs, while St. Louis had 14 digs, 13 kills, and one block. St. Louis is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had five or more in each of the last ten games she's played.

Fort Bend Dulles' loss dropped their record down to 11-20. As for Fort Bend Clements, their victory ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 13-20.

Fort Bend Dulles wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Fort Bend Hightower on the 7th. As for Fort Bend Clements, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Fort Bend Austin on the 7th.
