Grosse Pointe South got themselves on the board against L'Anse Creuse on Wednesday, but L'Anse Creuse never followed suit. They blew past the Lancers 10-0. Considering the Blue Devils have won 14 matches by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Grosse Pointe South has been performing well recently as they've won 13 of their last 16 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.9 runs on average over those games. As for L'Anse Creuse, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Grosse Pointe South will venture away from home to face off against Port Huron Northern at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for L'Anse Creuse, they will head out to challenge New Haven at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
