Basketball Recap: Hoopa Valley Now 8-1 over Last Nine Games

Hoopa Valley won the last time they faced Etna and things went their way on Thursday too. The Hoopa Valley Warriors walked away with a 60-51 victory over the Etna Lions. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warriors.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Hoopa Valley to victory, but perhaps none more so than Lyle Mckinnon, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 12 boards. Malakai McCoy was another key player, going 5 of 7 on his way to 14 points.

Hoopa Valley smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in four consecutive matches.
