Volleyball Recap: Lawndale Comes Up Short at Home Against Lynwood

Lawndale unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Lynwood Knights on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Cardinals in their meetings with the Knights: they've now lost three in a row.

Lynwood now has a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Lawndale will head out on the road to square off against Serra at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lynwood, they will take on Alta in a tournament on Friday.
