It was a proper cat-fight when Bexley faced off against Hilliard Davidson on Saturday. The Lions came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 2-0. Winning may never get old, but the Lions sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Bexley didn't let Hilliard Davidson take a single set, but it sure wasn't easy: every set was decided by three points or less. The final score came out to 27-25, 25-23.

Sloan Parker paced Bexley's offense, picking up six kills. Parker got some help from Avonlea Pitts and her 14 assists. Pitts also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Taylor Smith, racking up three apiece.

Bexley's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Hilliard Davidson, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Bexley has already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Olentangy on the 6th. As for Hilliard Davidson, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Trimble on the 6th.
