Soccer Game Preview: St. Paul's vs. St. Mark's

The St. Paul's Big Red are taking a road trip to challenge the St. Mark's Lions at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

St. Paul's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out Cushing Academy 1-0.

Meanwhile, St. Mark's has been on a difficult stretch since their win on September 27. They and Governor's Academy finished up on equal footing with a 0-0 draw on Saturday. The win was some much needed relief for St. Mark's as it spelled an end to their six-match losing streak.

St. Mark's draw gives them a new season record of 3-7-2. As for St. Paul's, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-7-2.
