Soccer Recap: Fergus Falls Comes Up Short

After flying high against Detroit Lakes on Monday, Fergus Falls came back down to earth. The Otters came up short against the St. Cloud Tech Tigers on Tuesday, falling 6-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Fergus Falls of the 4-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Fergus Falls' loss dropped their record down to 8-7-1. As for St. Cloud Tech, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3-2 record this season.

Fergus Falls will square off against Pelican Rapids at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for St. Cloud Tech, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Orono on the 2nd.
