Volleyball Recap: Irvington Takes a Loss

Irvington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Mission San Jose Warriors. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Vikings of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 10-25, 25-19, 25-19.

Irvington's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Mission San Jose, their victory ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 12-5.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Irvington is set to square off against their familiar foe Kennedy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Mission San Jose will challenge rival Moreau Catholic at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
