Volleyball Recap: Judah Christian Tribe vs. Fisher Bunnies

Judah Christian won the last time they faced Fisher, and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Judah Christian Tribe walked away with a 2-0 win over the Fisher Bunnies.

While Judah Christian won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-18.

Avoni Kelly paced Judah Christian's offense, picking up 11 kills. Kelly got some help from Mackenzie Jackson and her 23 assists. Liza Carder controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Fisher lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Bella Kelsey, who had eight digs and a kill. The team also got some help courtesy of Paige Hott, who had six kills, five digs, and two blocks.

Judah Christian's victory bumped their record up to 16-13. As for Fisher, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-26 record this season.

Judah Christian is on the road again on Wednesday to play Heritage at 7:00 p.m. Fisher does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
