Basketball Preview: Beach Bulldogs vs. Windsor Forest Knights
Beach hasn't had much luck against Windsor Forest recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Beach Bulldogs will face off against the Windsor Forest Knights at 7:30 p.m. Beach has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Beach is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They claimed a resounding 64-35 win over Southeast Bulloch. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Beach can attribute much of their success to Jayden Newton, who went 11 for 20 on his way to 27 points and five steals, and Chandler Reid, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten steals. The dominant performance also gave Reid a new career-high in assists (six). Christian Barrett was another key player, putting up four points in addition to nine rebounds and three blocks.
Meanwhile, Windsor Forest had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They breezed by the Sharks to the tune of 77-41. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 47-24.
Windsor Forest's win came from a few key players Beach will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Troy Smith, who made all 8 shots he took racking up 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Landon Page, who made all 7 shots he took racking up 18 points.
Beach now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Windsor Forest, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.
