James Kenan was handed a 12-run loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Tuesday. They skirted past the Southwest Onslow Stallions 10-9. The Tigers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Stallions, too.

Jourdan Joe was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and two doubles. The team also got some help courtesy of Kenadi Gideons, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4.

James Kenan was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .438. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .333 or higher in three consecutive contests.

The win got James Kenan back to even at 2-2. As for Southwest Onslow, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as James Kenan Tigers face off against East Duplin Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on March 25th. As for Southwest Onslow, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Jacksonville at 6:00 p.m. Southwest Onslow is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7 runs per game this season.
