Game recap: Legend High School Football Team defeats Highlands Ranch

PARKER, Colo. - Legend (Parker, Colo.) had its advantage, which at one point stood at 14 points, drop to seven before the final whistle blew on a 24-17 victory over Highlands Ranch (Colo.).

After taking the lead on a rushing touchdown, the Falcons went into halftime with a 7-3 lead. The Titans scored the winning points with a Dane Albaugh touchdown run that came in the third quarter.

Jalen Kittrell made a difference for Highlands Ranch. The junior running back ran for one touchdown. He has now scored five touchdowns on the season.

Legend's most effective player was Peyton Remy. The sophomore quarterback threw one touchdown. He has now scored one touchdowns on the season.

LHS entered the contest giving up 22.9 points per game this year. The Parker school held firm on the defensive front, and kept HR above the 13.9 points it had been averaging per game.



The win was a nice bounce back for the Titans, which lost to Castle View last week, 34-28.

Highlands Ranch (2-8) goes up against Legacy when it takes the field next week. The Lightning enter the tilt sporting a 4-5 record for the season.
