Volleyball Recap: Long Beach Comes Up Short

Long Beach was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Baldwin County Tigers.

Long Beach's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Baldwin County, they moved to 2-5 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Coming up, Long Beach will be playing at home against Gautier at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Baldwin County, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Elberta on the 30th.
