Volleyball Game Preview: Porter Ridge Pirates vs. Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls + Official Tickets

The Porter Ridge Pirates will venture away from home to face off against the Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Porter Ridge has now lost 15 straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since August 23.

Porter Ridge saw some tournament action on Monday. They lost 3-0 to Weddington.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-16, 25-12.

Meanwhile, Hickory Ridge came up short against Cox Mill on Wednesday, falling 3-0.

While Hickory Ridge had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-23, 25-22.

Porter Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 4-19. As for Hickory Ridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 20-7.

Porter Ridge couldn't quite get it done against Hickory Ridge in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can the Pirates avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
