Volleyball Game Preview: Two Rivers Purple Raiders vs. Brillion Lions

Two Rivers is 2-8 against Brillion since October of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Purple Raiders will host the Lions at 7:00 p.m.

Two Rivers is headed into the matchup having just suffered their biggest loss since September 25th on Tuesday. They came up short against Kiel, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-20, 25-14.

Natalie Weier put forth a good effort for the losing side as she had 11 digs.

Meanwhile, Brillion came tearing into Saturday's contest with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 2-0. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Brillion was: they took both sets by at least 13 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-12.

Two Rivers' defeat dropped their record down to 8-15. As for Brillion, their win bumped their record up to 24-4.
