Colonial Forge came tearing into Tuesday's contest with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.5 goals), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Massaponax Panthers 9-1. The final result isn't all the surprising considering Colonial Forge's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 74th, while Massaponax are ranked 285th).

Colonial Forge's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-2. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 32 goals over those four matches. As for Massaponax, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-11.
