Soccer Game Preview: Fort White vs. Palatka

The Fort White Indians will venture away from home to challenge the Palatka Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Fort White is headed into their contest with Palatka looking for a result a bit more satisfying than what they got in their season opener against Hamilton County on Tuesday. The Indians and the Trojans finished up their matchup with a 4-4 draw. The outcome might've been different if Carter Jenkins hadn't been hit with a yellow card, which no doubt limited his ability to make aggressive plays down the stretch.

Meanwhile, Palatka also started their season off with a less-than-sastisfying result. They played to a draw too, finishing 0-0 against Umatilla.

Fort White might still be hurting after the 8-0 loss they got from Palatka in their previous matchup back in November of 2017. Can the Indians avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
