Basketball Recap: South Houston Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Dawson, South Houston was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Dobie Longhorns 45-43. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 41-33 back in December of 2024.

South Houston now has a winning record of 15-14. As for Dobie, they dropped their record down to 11-20 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

South Houston will welcome Pasadena Memorial at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Dobie, they are taking a road trip to face off against Sam Rayburn at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Dobie is facing Sam Rayburn at the right time seeing as Sam Rayburn is stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
