Softball Recap: Temple City Rams vs. Temescal Canyon Titans

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Temple City had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They were the clear victor by an 8-2 margin over the Temescal Canyon Titans. Winning may never get old, but Temple City sure is getting used to it with their 18th in a row.

Kassandra Gewecke spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on four hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 20 consecutive pitching appearances.
