Baseball Preview: Chaminade Red Devils vs. Washington Bluejays
Chaminade and Washington are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2016, but likely not for long. The Red Devils will take on the Bluejays at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with nine consecutive losses for Chaminade and seven for Washington.
Chaminade will face Washington after dropping another heartbreaker against De Smet Jesuit on Wednesday, which marked the second time in a row the team's come within 2.1 of beating them. The Red Devils took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Spartans.

Chaminade got a good showing from Charlie Hobbs, who pitched 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Hobbs has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.
