Basketball Recap: Irondale Comes Up Short

Irondale lost against Stillwater back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Irondale Knights were beaten by the Stillwater Ponies 59-21. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 326th, while the Ponies are ranked 70th).

Irondale's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Stillwater, their win bumped their record up to 8-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Irondale will take on East Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Stillwater, they will square off against Roseville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
