Basketball Recap: Notus Takes a Loss

After flying high against Centennial Baptist last Tuesday, Notus came back down to earth. The Notus Pirates had to suffer through a 62-35 loss at the hands of the Riverstone International Otters. The Pirates haven't had much luck with the Otters recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Despite the loss, Notus still got an impressive performance from Caleb Cudaback, who went 7-for-12 on his way to 15 points and seven rebounds.

Notus' loss dropped their record down to 13-9. As for Riverstone International, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 18-2.

Coming up, Notus will take on Wilder at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Riverstone International does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
