It was fun while it lasted, but Franklin's undefeated season came to an end after nine games on Friday. Neither they nor the Del Oro Golden Eagles could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw. The result kept the Wildcats happy, as they haven't lost a game yet this season.

Their goal came courtesy of Miles Jones, who's now up to two this season.

Franklin's draw gives them a new season record of 9-0-1. Meanwhile, Del Oro's record is now 5-2-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Franklin will host Monterey Trail at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Del Oro, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Davis Sr. at 5:30 p.m.
