Football Game Preview: KIPP College Prep vs. National Collegiate Prep

KIPP College Prep will look to defend their home turf on Saturday against National Collegiate Prep at 12:00 PM. KIPP College Prep will be strutting in after a win while National Collegiate Prep will be stumbling in from a defeat.

It was all tied up at the half for KIPP College Prep and Paul Public Charter International last Friday, but KIPP College Prep stepped up in the second half. KIPP College Prep enjoyed a cozy 27-12 victory over Paul Public Charter International. No one put up better numbers for KIPP College Prep than senior Allen Williams, who brought his A game into the match. He rushed for 92 yards and 1 touchdown. One of the most memorable plays of the contest was Williams's 60-yard touchdown rush in the third quarter.

Meanwhile, National Collegiate Prep were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap, as they fell 28-34 to Wakefield. National Collegiate Prep are ranked 21st in the MaxPreps state rankings (260 spots ahead of Wakefield), so the loss was all the more frustrating.

National Collegiate Prep's defeat took them down to 3-3 while KIPP College Prep's win pulled them up to 4-3. National Collegiate Prep's offensive line will need to gear up for a tough test against a KIPP College Prep defensive front that amassed 12 sacks against Paul Public Charter International, so we'll see if they are up to the task.
