Basketball Recap: Nine Straight Road Victories for Breckinridge County

Breckinridge County had won eight straight road games dating back to last season and Elizabeth Grimes did her part to make it nine on Saturday. The Breckinridge County Fighting Tigers walked away with a 44-32 victory over the Bowling Green Purples thanks in part to Grimes, who posted 17 points in addition to five boards and three steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played.

Breckinridge County's win bumped their record up to 11-2. As for Bowling Green, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-3 record this season.

Breckinridge County will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Grayson County at 7:00 p.m. As for Bowling Green, they are taking a road trip to face off against South Warren at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
