Game recap: Evergreen High School Football Team defeats Northridge

EVERGREEN, Colo. - Evergreen (Colo.) saw its 21-point lead shrink to seven, but hung on to defeat Northridge (Greeley, Colo.) 27-20 on Saturday.

After taking the lead on a touchdown run by Jack Curtis in the first quarter, the Cougars led 20-6 at the half.

Evergreen saw its 14-point halftime lead decrease to seven entering the fourth.

The loss comes after Northridge defeated Lewis-Palmer 31-20 last week. The win was a nice bounce back for EHS, which lost to The Classical Academy last week, 27-14. The loss snapped Northridge's two-game winning streak.
