Basketball Recap: DSST: Conservatory Green Takes a Loss

DSST: Conservatory Green was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 33-28 heartbreaker at the hands of the Lincoln Lancers. The Hornets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lancers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2022.

Amina Abdikadir was her usual excellent self, putting up ten points in addition to six boards and six steals for Lincoln. Keirra Cerda was another key player, earning six points and four steals.

DSST: Conservatory Green's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Lincoln, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season.

DSST: Conservatory Green wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 55-22 defeat against Denver West on the 6th. As for Lincoln, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 57-24 loss against Manual on the 6th.
