If Mount Miguel wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Valhalla, they should've done a better job of containing Dylan Dobmeier. Valhalla walked away with a 3-1 victory over Mount Miguel on Thursday with plenty of help from Dobmeier, who had 16 digs. Those 16 digs gave him a new career-high.

Valhalla was especially dominant in the first set. The final score came out to 25-8, 25-17, 9-25, 25-18.

Valhalla's win bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Mount Miguel, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-17.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Valhalla will host West Hills at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mount Miguel, they will face off against Crawford at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
