Soccer Recap: Beaver Dam Takes a Loss

If Beaver Dam was feeling good fresh off their 4-1 takedown of Portage last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Golden Beavers came up short against the Oregon Panthers on Tuesday, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, Beaver Dam can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin soccer rankings (they are ranked 118th, while Oregon are ranked 14th).

Beaver Dam now has a losing record of 4-5-2. As for Oregon, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-3.

Looking ahead, Beaver Dam will host Reedsburg at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Oregon, they will venture away from home to take on Verona at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
