Snow Canyon barely beat Cedar the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Warriors put the hurt on the Reds with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Reds recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

While Snow Canyon won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 29-27, 25-14.

Among those leading the charge was Matthew Sierra Velasquez, who had 12 digs and three aces. That's the most aces he has posted over his last seven games.

Sierra Velasquez wasn't the only good server: Snow Canyon was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 14 aces. The Warriors are a perfect 3-0 when they serve at least ten aces.

Cedar's loss came despite strong showings from Kai Hunter and Nathan Guzman. Hunter had seven digs and two aces, while Guzman had six digs and two aces. Guzman also put up a kill, which was his first of the season.
