Baseball Recap: Timothy Christian Triumphs

Timothy Christian's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They came out on top against the Aurora Christian Eagles by a score of 4-1. For the Trojans, this counts as revenge for the 12-6 victory the Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.

Aurora Christian's batters probably weren't too happy with Gavin Bullard, who pitched a no hitter (he gave up two walks). Bullard also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Timothy Christian is 2-1 when he allows at most two earned runs, but 8-11 otherwise.

On the hitting side, Timothy Christian's win was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Brian Gannon, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Timothy Christian's victory bumped their record up to 10-12. As for Aurora Christian, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-12.

Timothy Christian will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Eagles: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
